Delete Your Account

Remove your MYDNATLAS account, your G25 coordinates and every analysis generated from them.

MYDNATLAS · Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in to MYDNATLAS, in the app or at mydnatlas.com.
  2. Open Settings, then the Account section.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Tick the acknowledgement that deletion is permanent.
  5. Type DELETE in the confirmation box.
  6. Enter your password to confirm it is really you.
  7. Confirm. Your account and data are removed straight away and we send a confirmation email.

If you can no longer sign in, email admin@mydnatlas.com from the address your account uses and ask for it to be deleted.

What is deleted

  • G25 coordinates: the computed coordinates derived from your DNA file.
  • Analysis results: ancestry breakdowns, population distances, multiway admixture fits and period results.
  • AI chat history and reports: every prompt and generated report tied to your account.
  • Samples and ghost populations: your saved samples and any custom populations you built.
  • Conversion orders and bookings: your G25 conversion orders and consultation bookings.
  • Preferences and activity: settings, sessions, activity history, perks and roles.
  • Uploaded files: anything remaining in your raw DNA file storage.
  • Your profile and sign-in identity, so the account can no longer be used to log in.

What happens to your raw DNA file

Your uploaded raw DNA file is already deleted once it has been converted to G25 coordinates — it is not kept beyond the conversion. Encrypted backups may exist for up to 7 days purely so a failed conversion can be recovered, and are permanently purged after that. Deleting your account also clears anything still held in your file storage.

What is retained, and why

  • Payment records held by our payment processor. Card payments are processed by Stripe, which keeps its own transaction records to meet tax and accounting obligations. We do not store your full card number at any point.
  • Encrypted backups already described above, for up to 7 days.

Nothing else is kept. We do not sell or share genetic data, and deleted analyses are not recoverable — if you want to keep your results, export them before you delete.
